1. What we use

Strictly necessary: authentication and session cookies, security tokens, and load-balancing identifiers. These cannot be switched off without breaking sign-in and voting.

Functional: remembering preferences such as your last-used view or dismissed notices.

Analytics: aggregate measurement of page views and feature use, to understand performance and improve the Platform.

Payment partner: our payment provider sets cookies and uses device signals during checkout for fraud prevention and to complete payments.

2. Local storage and similar technologies

We use browser local storage for session persistence and interface state, and short-lived tokens to rate-limit guest voting and detect automated activity.

3. Managing cookies

Most browsers let you block or delete cookies. Blocking strictly necessary cookies will prevent sign-in, checkout and voting from working.
