VoteForCause provides software. Competitions are created, run and controlled by independent organizers. We are not a co-organizer, sponsor, promoter, charity, fiscal sponsor or trustee.
No endorsement or verification of claims
Listing a competition is not an endorsement. We do not verify fundraising claims, beneficiary relationships, prize availability or contestant eligibility.
Paid votes are not donations to us
Paid votes are contributions to a third-party competition and are not tax-deductible charitable donations unless the organizer establishes and evidences that status.
Results
Published results reflect valid votes recorded at the time of close. Results may be adjusted where votes are invalidated or payments reversed.
No professional advice
Nothing on the Platform is legal, tax, financial or regulatory advice. Organizers should obtain their own advice before running a competition, particularly where prizes, fundraising or paid entry are involved.
